The Spanish may be the inventors of the pub crawl by combining wine and tapas (appetizers) as the restaurant specialities. You will be able to sample wines and tapas from some of Austin’s great wine bars.
DATE: Sunday, May 15, 2011
TIME: Meet up at 6:30 PM, Leave at 7:00 PM (please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure for check-in). Ride will wrap up by approximately 10:00 PM.
LOCATION: Austin Java at City Hall, 301 West 2nd St.
COST: $27 online before day of ride. Ride day $30, cash only.
GROUP RATE: Book 2 or more reservations and save! $25/person online before day of ride. Ride day $27/person, cash only.
BIKE RENTALS: Need a bike? We’ve got you covered. We have a fleet of comfortable, easy to ride Gazelle Dutch bikes for your biking needs. Bikes are available by height at $25/ride.
INFO SPECIFIC TO EVENING RIDES: This ride will end after sunset requiring everyone participating to bring a bike with the legal minimum of a working front light and rear reflector (rear light preferred.) If your bike does not have these minimums, you will not be allowed to ride with us. We will have front and rear light sets for sale for $25 cash (tax included) at the beginning of the ride.
As with all these rides, food and drink, bike valet, and our professional ride guides are included in the registration. All ride participants will received a coupon book with hundreds of dollars in saving from our series ride stop partners and will be entered into a drawing to giveaway a Gazelle Basic Dutch city bike at the end of the series. Total ride distance is approximately 6 miles.
